General Company of Iraqi Ports announced Tuesday, about 75% of the recovered sunken ships that hinder the movement of navigation in the ports of Basra, noting that the remaining is on the banks of the Shatt al-Arab and does not inhibit navigation and the movement of ships.

Safi said that “the difference recovered about 75% of those and there are no pieces in the moment that hinder navigation and movement of ships entering and leaving Iraq at the present time.”

He pointed out that “the remaining in the water is the current time on both sides of the banks of the Shatt al-Arab,” pointing out that “the ports of Khor Al-Zubair Umm Qasr is completely free from any sunken vessels.”
